One thing that scares people to death is losing their hair gradually or in a single go. This is the reason why even for those most urgent medical needs like a chemotheraphy, other options are called in by many people. Itchy scalp has been commonly related to hair loss by most of us. It is something that not even a dandruff shampoo or a special pill could readily cure as what some people think. We cannot blame them because some medical conditions of the skin and the scalp really have the effect of making people lose their “crowning glory”. Itchiness in some points is the initial symptoms for these hair loss conditions.

However, under normal conditions, it is not medically correct to correlate hair loss with itchy scalp. They could be both individual symptoms of a much serious type of disorder. As an example, itchiness in the scalp could indicate an adverse allergic reaction to a ceratin chemical agent or allergen. Hair loss could be an indicator of a genetically linked syndrome or inherited sex linked trait. The early detection of these symptoms could mean that a ceratin underlying serious disorder could be possibly given an ideal solution.

The ability of the body to defend itself could be seen in how these two symptoms or conditions arise in an individual. We must be thankful that our bodies are able to detect even minute traces of disorders. If an early detection is possible, then an early and effective cure is surely something that can be made possible.
